Brief Description
One of the goals of the National Strategic Plan for HIV and AIDS (2009-2012) is to provide a gender-sensitive approach to HIV prevention, care and treatment services and aims to prevent new HIV infections attributed to rape and gender-based violence. The Strategic Plan refers to gender-based violence on numerous occasions.
